Well wasn’t this one emotive event! But I have news my students… we’re going on a road trip! Now I don’t want to ruin the surprise… but we need to head to the beautiful Sinnoh! Why you ask? AHA that’s for us to tell you… when the time comes!
Pack your bags kiddos, we’re spending a couple of weeks in the quaint Solaceon Town! Why? How? It so appears that our beloved Literature teacher, Professor Doe has family over there and they need our help. How? They need a hand or two tending for their farm: The Jewelstone Ranch.
We’re leaving tonight! No one is to be left behind as there are some plans in Sinnoh after we’re done in Solaceon…
Sooo what is this? Road Trip! We’re moving to Solaceon in order to help Chuck Doe with his ranch!

So what can we do there? Ah, well, we’re a school right? There’s a list of assignments to complete as well as some extracurricular activities, but to complete this you must first change your clothes into something… more suitable. That’s why we bring you the Farmer Meme!

Assignments:
Home Economics:
Do you know where textiles come from? There are different kinds of fabric, from leather to cotton and wool. Your task while in this ranch is to collect as many materials you can to create a beautiful piece of fabric that then you must use to create a piece of clothing. Please, beware of mareep’s static and don’t go for leather though! Music:
The quiet nights on the ranch are in jeopardy! It seems like the infant ranch animals are putting up quite the fuss! Yet it seems that music can soothe the savage beast.
For your assignment: you are to sing or play a song to help keep the babies calm and ease them back to sleep. It can either be a hymn, a nursery rhyme, or any other song of your choice as long as it is appropriately soothing. Horticulture:
With all of the plants and crops nearby, it seems it’s up to the horticulture class to help out and take a load off of the farm rancher’s hands! So grab your hoes, your shovels and your rakes because we’re going to be planting and digging up the ripened vegetables and berries!Survival:
The woods are a dangerous place to venture into… but the creatures living in there are even more dangerous for the ranch livestock! Your task is to guard the edge of the woods at night and help scare the feral pokemon that have their gaze on the prized farm animals!Geography:
Every creature in this ranch has a specially designed environment… but the silly animals seem to be oblivious to this. It is your task to make sure each herd is in it’s place. We don’t want ducks in the pig pens do we?Literature:
This is one quaint little farm! In 1945 a book called Animal Farm was published by author George Orwell. Why don’t you take a small break from hard work and read this book? Your task is to take a picture of the animals depicted in the book working together!Zoology:
What kind of food are these small critters ingesting? Every animal on this ranch have different nutritional needs, your task is to help create the perfect food for each of them while keeping them in good shape. You don’t want obese creatures! Tech Ed:
Well this farm’s looking a little run down don’t you think? Bet they could use a little help fixing it up. Your assignment’s pretty simple. Anything you find that’s broken should be fixed. Worn down walls, fences with holes, that sort of thing. Let’s make a better living place for the animals and family.Art:
With the Tech Ed. class restoring the place, we might as well help out too! By painting of course! What we’re going to do is put a fresh coat of paint on anything that needs it. The farm will look good as new by the time we’re done!Other Activities
Milking the Cows:
Milk is one of the main products of a farm. Wanna be a farmer? Help milking those sweet miltanks. Remember to be gentle or the last thing you’ll see is a hoof to your face!
Ponyta Racing:
Which pokemon is one of the fastest? That’s right! Ponyta! Participate in the big ponyta race for a chance of winning the rare Shiny Shetland Ponyta!

Picking up eggs:
Speaking of income… this little eggs can be sold for quite some gold, if you can get them from the angry mothers! Be careful and collect them while leaving some oval stones for the torchic and ducklett!
Playtime with the dogs/cats:
Not everything is hard work on this ranch, the pet animals need some love as well! You can play around with the dogs and cats you find.
Fishing:
What is better than relaxing one afternoon while quietly fishing at the ranch ponds? What kind of fish will you find in here?
Gathering Honey:
Sweet honey is all you need to eat that delicious pile of pancakes… but honey comes from bees. Will you risk getting stung by that colony of combee? Believe me, it is worth it.
Nighttime Ghost Stories (Campfire):
Who said spooky? Let’s all gather at night around the campfire to tell the best ghost stories we can come with! Did you know about Solaceon’s mysterious creature lurking in the woods?
Grooming Farm Animals:
Happy animals produce quality items, and the best way to make your livestock feel loved is with one well spent grooming time! Make sure to get that dirt off and leave that fur shining!
Pet Farm:
Are you getting attached to one of the little critters in this ranch? Were you looking for a companion? Maybe you’re lucky but you can get one of this babies if you want! It just takes bonding! Look out for the special auction though, there might be a couple of rare pets…
Pet Rules
In order for you to be able to keep one of the critters as pets you will have to follow the next rules:
- Must have a first pet slot available if you want the baby to be for free.
- Must pay the second pet slot if your first one is already in use.
- Must submit AT LEAST two pics/lit logs about said creature. It’s all about bonding!
Auctioning Rules
Some special creatures will be sold in an auction for you to get as pets! What is so special about them? They are species you wouldn’t be able to have as pets due to their big size! What’s so special about them then? They are miniature! These little babies are the same size of a small dog breed! If they can evolve the evolution will be mini as well! The auction will have rules though!

- Auction will begin on June 15th and end on June the 20th
- Starting bids will be of 500 House Points
- Increments of 100 House Points
- Bids must follow the comment chain so there’s no sniping.
- There are no AutoBuys
- All points must come from the same character (not combining points from your 2nd/3rd characters)
- However different member characters can lend points to each other, the person lending points must comment on the pet auctioned submission with the following info:
* Character Lending the points
* Amount of points
*Member you’re lending points to
* Character getting the points
- Lending comments must be posted before said points are used in a bid.
